David Yanofsky

Biography

David is a designer, illustrator, screen printer and problem solver living in New York City. Some of his friends say he is "like really good at photoshop." A man on Bleecker Street told him he's "got the news, Candy Boss." David says he's a sucker for good typography, thoughtful representations of data and unconventional book binding techniques.

The product of a preppy suburban Boston upbringing and fratastic yet hipster influenced Mid-Western university experience, he is currently creating interactive infographics and data visualizations at Bloomberg L.P. Send him

It was designed, illustrated and programmed by David Yanofsky and was originally created in 2009 using ActionScript 2 but was recoded in 2010 into ActionScript 3 to adhere to Object Oriented Principles in a Model View Controller pattern. It is typeset in Perpetua and Univers, typefaces by Eric Gill and Adrian Frutiger respectively. But you can't see any of that because you don't have flash.
